About HireMaker Resume Service - Resumes, Cover Letters, more

HireMaker is a Resume Service with many many free perks and add-on services. Founded by a recruiter of over 15 years, HireMaker offers you expert "insider tips" on how to get a job, with top-notch resumes, available personal coaching, and a wealth of expert advice. Please take a moment to review the site, look at HireMaker's very own resume, and see how your resume can look that good too.

About HireMaker's principal

HireMaker is owned and operated by a recruiter and HR professional, SPHR certified, who has been reviewing resumes for over 15 years as a hiring manager, corporate recruiter, and agency recruiter. In other words, HireMaker isn't a service by someone who thinks they know how to write a resume.  HireMaker is a service run by someone who evaluates resumes, judges them, decides who to call, and who not to call, and then also rewrites them once they become represented by him as a staffing agency recruiter.

The prestigious Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is a prestigious certification earned through a rigorous exam.

How it works:

First, you get in touch with HireMaker, and send in a copy of your resume.

HireMaker responds promptly, with a free Resume Rating, and our signature "One free tip" program.  With your response, HireMaker also lets you know if we can help, and includes a PayPal payment request if we feel we can help.

Once you've decided to proceed, HireMaker sends you a questionnaire that takes a few minutes to fill in.  From there, HireMaker is off to the races, working with you to create an amazing resume that tells your story, persuades the reader, and gets you the interview.

Types of resumes:

HireMaker specializes in most of the major categories of resumes. Each type of resume has it's own special set of rules, on top of the universal rules that apply to all resumes.  HireMaker can help you with any of these resume types.

HireMaker Resume Service Job-getting tip number 9:

The One-Page resume doesn't matter (within certain bounds).  One page?  Two pages?  Just be thankful a recruiter is even taking the time to print your resume.  It means you got past the first hurdle, and it's great news.

If you're struggling to achieve the one-page resume, then don't worry about it, go ahead and make it longer.

There are exceptions, of course: If your resume is 1 full page plus a second page that's only 1 to 4 of 5 lines long, then yes, find a way to shorten it to one page.  But if you're well into 2 pages, feel free to make it 2 pages.
